Job Summary

As a Product Analyst on the Product Team, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making and shaping product strategies. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales) to analyze business workflows and customer journeys to write detailed user stories for the engineering team. These stories are crucial in delivering on the product strategy. You will also be responsible for driving the delivery with the engineering team, using agile methodologies.

Responsibilities
  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and identify trends that inform product decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize data requirements, ensuring the availability of accurate and reliable data for analysis.
  • Translate high-level goals into actionable product requirements, user stories, and detailed specifications.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, data analysis techniques, and emerging technologies.
  • Ensure all user stories are up-to-date with the appropriate information.
  • Ensure all user stories towards the top of the backlog are ready for development.
  • Create new user stories for all enhancements, bugs and new features.
  • Organize and maintain Jira as a true reflection of product initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers and Engineers to refine scope.
  • Facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to prioritize and groom the product backlog, ensuring user stories and tasks are well-defined and aligned with business goals.
  • Remove impediments and blockers that hinder the team's progress, working proactively to address challenges and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Monitor team performance and metrics, using data-driven insights to identify areas for enhancement and driving actions to optimize team efficiency and delivery.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, openness, and trust, encouraging a safe environment for healthy conflict and constructive feedback.
  • Provide guidance on Agile best practices, tools, and techniques, helping the team improve their Agile processes over time.
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to develop and maintain dashboards and reports that visualize product performance metrics, providing stakeholders real-time visibility into product health.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Design, or a related field. An advanced degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in analysis and scrum roles, preferably in the tech industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing.
  • Ability to identify areas of optimization and apply improvements
  • Proficiency in using agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to write requirements and user stories.
  • Scrum certification or equivalent
