As an Inventory Control Specialist at Carbon Robotics you are responsible for the overall health and flow of inventory items through our dynamic internal manufacturing facility. This role requires attention to detail, Communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team to ensure optimal inventory levels.
What you’ll do:
Carbon Robotics follows equitable hiring practices. Flexibility in our hiring process allows hiring of talent at levels different from what are posted. The compensation range outlined is based on a target budgeted base salary. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as relevant experience and skill, Interview assessments and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements. Offers are determined using our equitable hiring practices. Carbon Robotics offers additional compensation in the form of benefits premiums, pre-IPO stock options and On Target Earning commissions for appropriate positions. Base pay ranges are reviewed each year. We are committed to the principle of pay equity – paying employees equitably for similar work.

$47,531—$67,014 USD

As an Inventory Control Specialist at Carbon Robotics you are responsible for the overall health and flow of inventory items through our dynamic internal manufacturing facility. This role requires attention to detail, Communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team to ensure optimal inventory levels.
What you’ll do:
- Maintains consistent stock of inventory, ordering new stock up to pre-authorized limit as inventory dwindles.
- Establishes and maintains backup source for high-demand items.
- Assesses inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring delivery.
- Provides inventory reports to purchasing.
- Develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors.
- Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.
- Manages and maintains inventory system; facilitates upgrades to related databases and/or software under the direction of the purchasing or inventory control manager.
- Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
- Assists with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory audits.
- Operates forklift truck when necessary.
- Performs other related duties as requested.
- Excellent communication skills with warehouse workers, purchasing department, and outside vendors.
- Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
- Proficient keyboarding skills.
- Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to develop professional relationships with outside vendors.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience with computerized inventory systems Highly preferred.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at times.
- Must be able to reach items both high and low.
