As an Accounting Manager you will oversee core accounting functions within our dynamic manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for leading the monthly close process, managing the general ledger, supervising AP and AR operations, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal controls. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, manufacturing accounting experience, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, delivering accurate and timely financial reporting
- Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and intercompany transactions
- Supervise Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and policy compliance
- Ensure adherence to US GAAP and maintain strong internal controls across accounting operations
- Coordinate and support external audits, including the preparation of schedules and audit documentation
- Support tax compliance and regulatory filings as needed
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies, particularly within NetSuite
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, and FP&A on inventory, costing, and manufacturing-related accounting
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for Success:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred
- Minimum 6 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment
- Background in public accounting (Big 4 or national firm) is highly desirable
- Proficient in NetSuite, with hands-on experience in GL, AP, AR, and Inventory modules
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, inventory accounting, and standard costing methods
- Proven experience managing month-end close and leading accounting operations
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

The compensation range outlined is based on a target budgeted base salary. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as relevant experience and skill, Interview assessments and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements. Offers are determined using our equitable hiring practices. Carbon Robotics offers additional compensation in the form of benefits premiums, pre-IPO stock options and On Target Earning commissions for appropriate positions. Base pay ranges are reviewed each year. We are committed to the principle of pay equity – paying employees equitably for similar work.
