What you’ll do (including, but not limited to):

• Run analysis on data to extract insights
• Build meaningful software to integrate into the Digs product
• Be in an environment to interact and work closely with researchers and engineering leaders
• Be mentored and learn new technologies in an early stage high growth startup

Who you are:

• Ability to work independently and take initiative to contribute to the team
• Experience in any programming language such as Python, Typescript etc.,
• Are attentive to details, meticulous, and ready to learn.

Nice to have:

• Prior internship experience
• Experience with computer vision, data handling (OpenCV, Scikit, numpy etc.,)
• Built prototypes with Typescript / Javascript or Python

Qualifications:

• Evidence of strong academics.
• Ability to partner across the organization.
• Sound communication skills.
• Ability to participate in Google Meet or Around meetings with your team.
• Current college student working towards a certificate in computer science or equivalent technical discipline.

The Details:

This internship position is set to begin in June 2024, lasting for 12 weeks, with a commitment of 20-30 hours per week. The compensation ranges from $20 to $30 per hour, depending on experience. The internship will be conducted remotely using platforms such as Google Meet, Zoom, or Around. Candidates who live near our office in Vancouver, WA, have the option to work on-site if they prefer. We will provide all necessary equipment, including a laptop, to ensure you have everything needed to succeed in this role.
