We’re seeking a Senior Engineer to join our dynamic team, contributing directly to our platform's architecture and software development. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the evolution of our platform, working closely with our technical co-founder and a talented team of engineers.

Role Description

This is a full-time role in Seattle/Remote for a Senior Engineer at PDM Automotive. You will work closely with the technical co-founder and the engineering team to address challenging technical problems and contribute to platform architecture and software development. This role is primarily remote but preferred in the Greater Seattle Area for collaborative in-person work. You will report to our technical co-founder and play a significant role in building out our next-generation AI-powered catalog platform.

Your time will be spent:

- 80% hands-on in platform architecture and software development.

- 20% supporting and collaborating with the engineering team.

Skills we need you to have already

• Strong experience in platform development and architecture.
• Proficiency in backend development with Ruby, GoLang, or similar languages.
• Demonstrated expertise in working with large databases and scaling, ideally in MySQL (schemas, indexes, queries).

Skills that are a bonus

• AWS (ECS, Lambda).
• CI/CD pipeline.
• Go automated testing (ideally with Ginkgo/Gomega).
• Building AI-driven applications.
• Experience in automotive or e-commerce industries.
• Interest in cars or automotive technologies.
• Working with ReactJS or similar frontend frameworks.
