Solo is the operating system for the 75m+ app-based gig workers to manage their business and maximize their earnings potential. Solo tracks data across multiple platforms to provide city-level pay and performance benchmarks, including hour-by-hour earnings predictions that Solo guarantees, making up the difference if pay is less.

About You and the Role

• You will be part of an early-stage team that is passionate about building & launching products that truly improve people’s lives. You’re curious, resilient, an owner and a strong team player. You enjoy managing through ambiguity and can tackle a wide variety of business tasks & problems using data as your foundation. You’ll own key business initiatives from idea to implementation and eventually scale. You move quickly and understand that sometimes done is better than perfect. This role requires exceptional operational and analytical skills as well as a determination to “hustle” and get things done.

What you’ll do

• Define and track Solo user and program metrics, assessing trends or changes and enacting action plans as a result
• Design and build dashboards with SQL, Excel to track overall business performance and help inform key strategic decisions
• Drive the feedback loop between the operations and product by conveying the priorities and needs of users
• Employ strong analytical and quantitative skills with devotion to data-based decision making
• Have a seat at the table and help build the business from the ground up - no job is too small or too big

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional experiences in analytics, operations, consulting, growth or similar roles, ideally in a startup or fast-growing company
• Excellent analytical skills (SQL, Excel) with experience drawing conclusions and driving action from complex data sets
• Strong independent decision making instincts with ability to make right tradeoff and prioritization based on the business impact
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations where problem sets are vague and priorities can change
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
• Capability to collaborate with team members of all levels and focus
