Who You Are: A Senior Content Marketing Manager with a passion for storytelling and attention to detail

WellSaid Labs is looking to hire a Senior Content Marketing Manager responsible for developing and distributing content in order to support web copy, blogs, B2B marketing premium assets, and general marketing needs.

At WellSaid Labs, the Content Marketing Manager will be a strong writer and editorial strategist who can adapt to various goals and topics, one day writing a byline about a WellSaid customer and the next day planning landing page content about Generative AI. You will love this job if you’re flexible and enjoy creating content for all Marketing content needs.

One more thing: While you may not be an AI expert, you are a tech enthusiast/creative at heart. This is a key requirement to become a contributing member of WellSaid. Our customers are creating next-generation content, experiences, and products, and you will support them in achieving their creative goals. You are likely to have a strong opinion in favor, against, or neutral about using the Oxford comma — and know the difference between a hyphen, an em dash, and an en dash. And you most likely hated the previous running sentence.

What you’ll do:

  • Execute on full funnel content strategy with an emphasis on content creation and copy writing that drive engagement, brand awareness, and lead generation across multiple channels
  • Identify and execute areas of opportunity for long-form SEO content to increase website traffic and brand authority for prospects across the buyers journey.
  • Strategize on long-form content distribution via email and social media channels and assist with short-form, direct-response copywriting as needed
  • Conduct research to understand target audience needs, preferences, and pain points, and incorporate insights into content strategy.
  • Oversee blog production from conception to publication, ensuring quality and timeliness.
  • Develop, create and maintain social media channels and editorial calendar
  • Work with other Marketing teams to strategize on content distribution.
  • Develop engaging and informative copy for homepages, landing pages, and product pages.
  • Collaborate with design and UX teams to ensure that copy complements visual elements and enhances overall user experience.
  • Develop and maintain brand voice and style guidelines across all digital channels.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in digital copywriting and content strategy
  • Monitor content performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.

What you’ll have:

  • BA / BS or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in journalism, public relations, or content marketing
  • Excellent writing skills and an ability to find multiple angles to a story
  • Working knowledge of WordPress CMS and Yoast SEO plugin
  • Basic knowledge of SaaS products and markets
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Superior organizational and copy-editing skills
  • Proficiency with HubSpot

As a startup, we strive to be externally competitive with companies at a similar size and stage, and internally fair in our pay practices. The hiring salary range for this role is $120,000 - $140,000 and represents the target offer range given the scope and experience expectations for this role.
