Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in WordPress development and possess a strong knowledge of coding languages. The WordPress Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining websites and web applications using WordPress and ensuring their performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

WordPress Development:

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites and web applications using best practices and coding standards.
• Customize and extend WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
• Implement responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Optimize website performance, including page load times and server response.

Coding Languages:

• Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Ability to write clean, modular, and well-documented code.
• Implement secure coding practices to protect against vulnerabilities.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in web development.

Website Design and UI/UX:

• Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to create visually appealing and user-friendly website interfaces.
• Ensure seamless navigation and intuitive user experience across different devices.
• Conduct usability testing and implement improvements based on user feedback.

Content Management and SEO:

• Set up and configure WordPress content management systems.
• Manage and update website content, including pages, posts, and media.
• Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and search engine rankings.
• Optimize website content for performance, including image compression and caching.

Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

• Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and errors in WordPress websites.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks, including updates, backups, and security checks.
• Monitor website performance and implement necessary optimizations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve website-related issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a WordPress Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in coding languages, including PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
• Familiarity with UI/UX best practices and usability testing
• Knowledge of SEO principles and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
