Data Migration engineer is responsible for helping our clients address some of their biggest data challenges. He / She should be the front-liner handling end-to-end data migration for clients from other billing systems. Solely responsible for the integration of the client's application with Chargebee and making sure the data migration is handled in accordance with their integration requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers for migration-related instructions/clarifications, primarily via email and phone Execute data migrations Analyze and develop standards and processes

• Work with Engineering on migration tool requirements/improvements

• Understand payment gateway and card vault technologies

• Data conversion and transformation

• Post-migration follow-ups and data cleanups

• Perform data migration audits

• Migration insights and reporting

• Ability to work independently Excellent written and oral communication skills Exposure to tools like MS Excel / Google Spreadsheets is a plus

• Team player, detail-oriented and reliable Good knowledge of the principles of customer service Must have hands-on experience on any one of these languages: Python, Javascript, Core Java, Google app scripts
