Zuper is seeking a Director of Business Development to lead engagement with our strategic Channel Partners. This role's primary focus is to generate revenue through Channel Partners, particularly those collaborating with our tier 1 Ecosystem partners such as HubSpot and Zendesk. The role has responsibility for two types of Channel Partners, Referral Partners as well as Solution Partners who are trained to implement Zuper. Additionally, the role involves identifying and securing new partnerships that align with our business objectives in the field service industry.
As the Director of Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in generating demand through Channel Partners, optimizing partner performance, and expanding our strategic relationships. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure partners are enabled, engaged, and driving meaningful business outcomes. This role will report to our head of Channel Partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive revenue generation from our strategic Channel Partners, especially those focused on our top tier Ecosystem partners such as HubSpot and Zendesk.
- Develop and implement partner enablement strategies to increase referral and lead volume.
- Collaborate with partners to build joint go-to-market (GTM) initiatives, co-selling programs, and partner incentives.
- Provide training and support to Channel Partners to ensure they are equipped to effectively promote and sell Zuper.
- Engage in strategic and technical discussions with Channel Partners, covering use-case education, industry-focused strategies, market dynamics, integration opportunities, customer scenarios, and requirement validation.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure partner-driven revenue.
- Conduct business reviews with partners to analyze performance and drive improvements.
- Act as a liaison between Solution Partners and internal teams, including product development, customer support, and finance, to help partners effectively implement Zuper’s solutions.
- Identify and evaluate new strategic partnership opportunities that align with company growth objectives in the field service industry.
- Work with Marketing and Sales to create joint demand generation programs.
What We’re Looking For
- 7 - 12 years of experience in Business Development, Channel Sales, or Partner Management in a B2B SaaS environment
- Proven track record of driving revenue through channel partnerships and delivering business growth.
- Experience with co-selling models, partner enablement, and revenue-driven partnership strategies.
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with experience structuring deal terms and partnership agreements.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance teams to execute partner strategies.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Experience with partner CRM tools, deal registration platforms, and partner incentive programs is a plus.
- Familiarity with field service management solutions and HubSpot and Zendesk is a plus
