Your Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll join our mission to build a modern freight platform from scratch. Working with a dynamic, agile team, you'll have the opportunity to make a substantial impact on our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Iterate quickly with a small team to build and launch new ideas and products.
- Contribute to high-impact code that will drive the business forward.
- Design new systems from the ground up.
- Establish and promote best engineering practices to facilitate our ongoing growth.
- 5+ years of industry experience in software development as part of a professional team.
- BS degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in technical leadership and defining technical strategy in a product-oriented team.
- A strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
- A growth mindset, coupled with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and concepts to meet customer needs.
- Broad understanding of both frontend and backend technologies, with a solid grasp of cloud-based architectures.
- Proven ability to foster diverse, flexible, and empathetic engineering teams.
- Experience building enterprise SaaS applications
- Familiarity with trucking or logistics industry
- Experience with AWS, Javascript/Typescript, GraphQL, React, or PostgreSQL
