Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and technically-minded sales executive to join our team. You’ll be working with our growth team (made up of sales, marketing, and customer success), talking to vacation rental and hotel managers, helping them create more efficient operations through the deployment of smart devices and software. As an Account Executive, you will be on the front lines of sales, talking directly to prospects and clients, taking them through the entire sales cycle. You’ll also get the chance to contribute to our go to market strategy, aiding in creating a message that speaks to our target audience at scale. This is a great opportunity to influence the whole customer journey, not just passively handle leads. You will also help us refine the pitch for new product launches and work closely with industry partners.

Role Responsibilities
  • Actively prospecting and qualification of opportunities
  • Talking to clients and delivering effective software demonstrations of our product
  • Nurture leads through the sales cycle and close deals
  • Constantly follow up with customers, answering questions and demonstrating how Operto’s solutions add value to their business
  • Closing opportunities and preparing each project for a successful deployment
  • Crafting compelling messaging, whether it’s a sales email or a landing page
  • Attend internal meetings to discuss sales pipelines

Role Requirements
  • Conduct effective sales and solution discovery and qualification
  • Build a healthy pipeline through a combination of inbound and outbound prospecting efforts
  • Strong communication skills; adept at listening to and understanding clients' business goals and needs
  • Self-starter who is comfortable taking ownership, while also working as part of a team
  • Dynamic and flexible; we’re a startup, so things change often and quickly
  • Analytical, process and detail-oriented
  • Enthusiastic about technology
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English a requirement

It’s a bonus if you…
  • Are familiar with a B2B SaaS sales setting
  • Experience using sales methodologies (Sandler, MEDDIC, Challenger, Consultative Selling, etc.)
  • Previous exposure to hotels and short-term rentals
  • Possess previous knowledge of SEO, SEM, and social media marketing
  • Are multilingual as our clients are worldwide (double points if you are fluent in French or Spanish!)
