Job Summary
At Operto, the Product Manager will work in collaboration with the VP of Product and will be responsible for shaping the vision, strategy, and roadmap of our offerings. This pivotal position involves collaborating with diverse stakeholders, from designers and engineers to data scientists and analysts, to ensure the triumph of the designated Operto product or feature. By adeptly prioritizing tasks, leveraging data-driven insights, and facilitating effective communication with internal teams and external users, the Product Manager plays a vital role in transforming concepts into tangible realities, making a profound impact within the realm of hospitality technology.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with stakeholders to define and communicate Operto’s product vision, strategy, and goals.
- Develop user stories based on a deep understanding of user behaviour and needs through data analysis, user feedback, and market research.
- Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap that aligns with Operto’s objectives and customer demands.
- Collaborate with user research, design, Engineering, and data science teams to define and prioritize product features and enhancements.
- Work closely with designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that drive engagement and conversion.
- Work closely with the Scrum Master and Engineering teams to understand delivery timelines and communicate it to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Champion a customer-centric approach, gathering insights from users and stakeholders to continuously iterate and improve the product.
- Monitor product performance post-launch, analyzing key metrics and gathering insights to inform future enhancements.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to develop effective product messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Proven experience (6+ years) in product management, preferably in SaaS products
- Demonstrated success in launching and managing products that have achieved business goals and delighted users.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, and Marketing.
- Proficiency in using product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for travel and unique experiences.
- Strong understanding of product development lifecycles and methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum.
