We’re looking for a Sales Manager focused on our new ONE product who is fired up to sell, ready to lead, and excited to grow into a sales leadership role.
Operto ONE is our new agentic platform designed to power both front-of-house and back-of-house property operations through thoughtfully built agentic features and services, enabling teams to work more efficiently, respond faster, and deliver exceptional guest experiences at scale.
This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for a sales leader who still loves being in the field while developing strong people leadership and operational discipline.
Role Summary:
As a Sales Manager for Operto ONE, you will initially operate as an individual contributor while laying the foundation for a scalable sales organization. You will own the pipeline, close deals, build processes, and establish the standards that future SDRs and AEs will follow. As revenue scales, the goal is to transition naturally into a people-leadership role, hiring and managing the sales team.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that will shape the company’s GTM engine during a critical period of growth and transformation.
Role Responsibilities
Sales Execution (Immediate Focus)
Build and manage the full sales funnel, forecast performance, and implement systems for transparency and accountability.
Build and manage a strong pipeline in alignment with quarterly revenue goals
Run high-quality demos, negotiations, and deal cycles
Partner with Marketing and Product to refine messaging and positioning
Represent Operto ONE with confidence, energy, and credibility
Sales Operations & Process
Own CRM hygiene and pipeline accuracy
Develop repeatable sales processes, playbooks, and scripts
Track conversion metrics and optimize performance
Forecast revenue and provide leadership visibility into pipeline health
Continuously improve sales efficiency in a startup environment
Team Leadership & Coaching (As we scale)
Coach and mentor SDRs and AEs to improve performance and consistency
Conduct weekly 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and deal coaching
Set clear performance expectations and hold the team accountable
Help onboard and ramp new go to market resources
Build a culture of energy, ownership, and healthy competition
What We’re Looking For
You are:
Fired up to sell and naturally competitive
A strong closer who can also coach others
Comfortable in ambiguity and startup environments
Motivated to grow into a sales leader role
You have:
3–5 years in SaaS sales
Prior experience mentoring SDRs or AEs
Proven ability to hit or exceed quota
Strong communication and objection-handling skills
CRM fluency and pipeline management discipline
A growth mindset and leadership ambition

Salary Range: Pay Rate: This compensation range takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to job-related skills, experience and relevant training or education, business and organizational needs. CAD: $170,000 OTE annually
